Photographer Robin Muzingo embodies artistic expressions of passion for portraiture, lifestyle and vintage automobiles.
While having an intrigue for photography as a teen before the digital age, Robin experienced her initiation to photography, photographing the Southern California’s surf subculture and learning film technique. She continued through the years capturing the essence of life she found fascinating with portraiture and images documenting travel to the East Coast, England, France and Belgium.
Her background includes creative ventures such as costuming and hat design for film, television and music videos, hat design for her own high end line, designing with her sister for her national home furnishing accessories business based out of Dallas, and early on, wedding dresses, corset-making, unusual hats and veils, while also styling for fashion shows.
Her skills also include fine art, however, continuing her photography during these ventures, these allowed her the opportunity to use these creative outlets as her muse. She remembers though, that throughout her life art is art, no matter what the media. It’s all about the right side of the brain.
With photography, she knows that vision has to be innate and she seeks to forever nuture that within her soul. She knows that at any given moment, she could capture a moment that will be forever preserved in in time.
